Decency
Ya know I'm all one for fashion i think its great that everyone can express themselves in different ways and in many forms with one clothing item but i don't want to know what you look like half naked. I'm not a pedophile i really don't want to see half-naked young kids. And i know their gonna say well i'm 15 and blah- blah- blah but whats the point of it? Look at the guy on the right he is HOLDING up his pants. If you're gunna do that you might as well wear them properly. I know its a fashion statement...that started in prison. Yes it is a prison fashion that when worn that inmate will do "favors" for someone. Do you want to go to jail? Do you want to be a hooker? It's not just boys who do stupid things and then wonder why noone takes them "seriously", girls too. I saw a girl who would have still been in highschool, if she weren't still in middle, wearing the strangest fashion I'd seen in a long time...Lady GaGa would have stared. she wore two different types of socks each in neon colors, a bright red petty coat (ones like they sold this past halloween at walmart), a light (weight) black jacket, and a purple tank top underneath, it was below 40. To make it worse she was uncomfortable. She kept trying to tug down the skirt that ends at the mid-upper thigh (i know i wore one for halloween) and she kept rubbing her arms, it was freaking cold. Yes i know fitting in, got it, understand it, don't like it. People are going to mock you no matter the decision. Those boys up there and the girl i described probably thought they were hot sh*t and so did their friends and here I am making fun and complaining. It's just i don't how to explain it we don't need to you know go back to the crenoline skirts and bow ties but if your going out dress sensible to the weather. If your going somewhere where there is a lot of people don't make yourself off as a thuglet or skank. We were all that age we know what those looks were of "hey she's hot" (those aren't always from the people your age), or "OMG what is she wearing" (older people), then off course theres "thats last year's style" (your schoolmates). It doesn't matter whether you wear a uniform or the latest fashions there is always an appropriateness and etiquette outside of your own little world. Not to get down on the younger crowd my next blog will be about older people who...just need to know that they're NOT kids anymore.

I completely agree with this post! It is ridiculous how some middle and high school students dress these days. When I was in high school I would always see middle school girls walking around in skirts that were to short and heels that were to high and all I thought was what were they thinking. Men have always let their pants sag even if they have a belt on with them, which i just don't understand. It seems like it will always be like this though and it will always be an issue.
